Welcome to our G. Theberge School website. We will endeavor to make this a place where you can find current policies and helpful links for information about our staff and school life. At G. Theberge School we focus on building strong relationships that last many years as we follow our students from Pre-kindergarten all the way along until graduation at the end of Secondary Five. We enjoy small class sizes that allow for closer attention to students as well as personalized support plans.
Some points of interest this year:
- We have received many grants again form the government supporting fun and enriching activities for all students
- Secondary students are able to participate in many extracurricular clubs and activities, please encourage your child to join in 🙂
- This Fall Secondary students had the opportunity to participate in three days camping in Parc Opemican
- We offer educational resource support at Primary and Secondary
- Our school is focused on developing a more restorative approach to discipline with an emphasis on allowing children the opportunity when possible to repair the harm.
- George (our school dog) has been a regular fixture for eight years at school now. He still loves coming to visit with the students however due to his advanced age of twelve years old he is now in the process of a progressive retirement. It’s been a challenge particularly this Fall for him to get around our building due to the road construction and he tires a lot more easily. When he is present he is always available for a cuddle, walk or check-in.
